The Port Authority of Tarragona (APT) is coordinating and developing the Port of Tarragona Quality Plan, taking, within the port community, the leadership in the implementation of Quality Systems with a view to offering top-quality port services designed to cover the needs of its clients, both current and potential, who may increase the competitiveness of the Port of Tarragona.
The APT has the following strategic objectives, among others:
Creating loyalty among current clients: We seek to maintain current clients and live up to their expectations, honouring our service and quality commitments, with transparency in the definition of the service we offer.
Improving the perceived image of the services delivered: We are committed to improving the image of the Port as it is perceived by its clients in terms of quality of service, both directly by the APT and indirectly by the different agents in the port community.
Leadership of the port community in the promotion of ongoing service improvement: We promote our role as leader by monitoring and coordinating the activities conducted in the Port and those of the agents that provide the services.
Orientation of processes towards client satisfaction and quality: We engage in internal activities within the organisation with suitable levels of quality, safety and costs in order to accomplish the quality commitments taken on with our clients.
